Mothers Day & YOU
This week, especially Sunday May 13th this year, Remember our TWO Mothers . . . Your own physical mother who gave birth to you and the Planetary Body, Mother Earth who truly provides us all food, water and life.
Please take a few minutes to close your eyes, focus on your breathe, (in and out.. ahhh ) and for that moment think of a balanced sacred life. Send a moment of love, gratitude and appreciation for Mother Earth as well as your own physical mother. The EARTH Mother feeds us with water, plants, animals and atmosphere to breathe, beauty to behold and sustained life.
Then, and not necessarily in that order, take a moment to send love from your heart and mind to your physical mother. . . whether she be alive or past, whether you knew her or not.
If your mother was there for you, honor her and send her love. If your mother was abusive, absent by choice or by circumstance, bless that too as it potentially made you strong through seeking that which might have been… nurturing and love. Accept, forgive, remember, heal and thrive. Know that ‘that which you seek is innate within you already’. If you feel something is missing, you have the capacity to attract or create that which you want.
This Mothers Day, nurture yourself and honor all your ancestors, connecting to the awareness of your DNA. Everything is energy and there are memory patterns there for you to draw on or heal from. Science and physicists sometimes ‘get it’. But I invite you to explore the creative possibility that you have the power to overcome any pattern from the past as the feminine nature is creativity Both men and women have that feminine side within.
So this Mothers Day, honor the one who carried your spirit, fed it as an embryo and by conscious choice or by chance, she gave birth to your life.
And remember, the past is history, the future is a mystery, so the PRESENT is a GIFT. Take THIS time to be in gratitude, taking personal responsibility and acknowledge yourself for being the best that you can be, always getting better and better.
